Winter Magic

I am combining some of my mother's poetry with my photography.  I love the majesty in this picture taken in the Snowqualmie Mountains.  It just looks like a fairy land to me.  So soft and clean and yet almost mythical.  Scenes like this are a gift and only last for a short while and then  with a breeze or a thaw, they are gone.

Peacock In Town
This beautiful peacock is occasionally seen wandering around in the parking lot of an apartment complex in our town where a friend lives.  It is tame.  Not alarmed at all when I followed him around.  I wish he would have fanned his tail.  Maybe some day! God has made some beautiful creatures.
